2010 Census: San Jose CA Hispanic Population Distribution

CA Census 2010 Population – Hispanic – SJO

The data are mapped at the census block level, the smallest geography available.

The Hispanic population is concentrated in east-central San Jose and in the downtown area.

Portland Metro residents were no more or less likely to have participated in organizations other than school, service, civic, sports, recreation, or religious than residents of the State of Oregon.

Oregon is the entire state of Oregon. The sample consists of 1,100 interviews with a sample of error at the median of approximately 3 percent.

Portland Metro includes Clackamas, Multnomah, and Washington counties in Oregon and Clark County in Washington. Yamhill County in Oregon was not included in the sample. The sample consisted of 544 interviews with a sample of error at the median of approximately 4 percent.

Census 2010 Population – Hispanic – Portland Metro

The Hispanic population, unlike the African-American population, is concentrated in several areas throughout the Portland Metro region.

The Asian population is spread throughout California’s 36th Congressional District. In general, they reside a little more inland than the white population.

The African-American population is scattered throughout California’s 36th Congressional District. They are most concentrated in the southeast corner of the district.

The map makes it clear that California;s 36th Congressional District hugs the coast in the predominantly white areas and generally not including the predominantly non-white areas inland.

Seattle-Tacoma Metro residents were no more or less likely to have participated in a religious organization than residents of the State of Washington.

Washington is the entire state of Washington. The sample consisted of 1,238 interviews with a sample of error at the median of approximately 3 percent.
Seattle includes the standard Seattle-Tacoma Metro Area. The sample consisted of 608 interviews with a sample of error at the median of approximately 4 percent.

Ohio White Non-Hispanic Population Distribution (2010 Census)

OH Census 2010 Population – White – Statewide

The data are mapped at the census block level, the smallest geography available.

The White Non-Hispanic population is generally concentrated in the suburban and rural areas outside the major metropolitan areas throughout the state.

San Francisco and San Jose metro residents were no more or less likely to have participated in a religious organization than residents of the State of California.

California is the entire state of California. The sample consisted of 5,438 interviews with a sample of error at the median of approximately 1 percent.
San Francisco includes San Francisco and Alameda counties. The sample consisted of 549 interviews with a sample of error at the median of approximately 4 percent.
San Jose includes Santa Clara County. The sample consisted of 268 interviews with a sample of error at the median of approximately 6 percent.
