IL Census 2010 Population – Hispanic – Cook

The data are mapped at the census block level, the smallest geography available.

The Hispanic population is concentrated to the northwest and the southwest in Chicago and in a number of suburbs on the outskirts of the urban area.

Clearly, there have been few complaints about population growth in the Eugene area recently.

The wording of the population growth question was designed to parallel a long-time question on the Eugene Community Survey.

QUESTION:
Do you believe that recent population growth in Eugene has been too fast, too slow, or just about right?

METHODOLOGY:
All surveys consist of 200 telephone interviews of likely Eugene General Election voters. The margin of error at the overall sample median is plus or minus 7 percent.

The surveys were conducted June 14-15, 2010, September 29-30, 2010, November 29-30, 2010, January 24-25, 2011, May 25-26, 2011, and September 26-27, 2011.

The African-American population is concentrated on Chicago’s West Side and South Side and in southern suburbs.
