Commissioner Stewart, based on these data, appears to be in reasonable shape. He has a three-to-one favorability ratio and nearly 40 percent favorables. He has a better than two-to-one ratio, but does not quite reach 40 percent.

ANALYSIS
There are two useful standards to analyze an incumbent county commissioner name identification. The first is that the incumbent have at least a two-to-one favorable to unfavorable ratio. A three-to-one is considered a strong position. The second is that the favorable rating should be at or around 40 percent.

Leiken Favorability Spring 2013

Commissioner Leiken, based on these data, appears to be in very good shape for a re-election bid. He has a nearly five-to-one favorability ratio and 60 percent favorables.
